Padilla Passion Project – Austen Everett Foundation

Seventeen-year-old baseball player David Padilla was being scouted by the Arizona Diamondbacks when he was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma during his senior year of high school.

When David’s diagnosis became terminal in 2015, he joined the AEF team to leave his mark on the AEF legacy. David teamed up with his cousin Nolan, an assistant choreographer and lead dancer on World Tour with TAYLOR SWIFT, to start the Padilla Passion Project. The project soon expanded beyond the Go Fund Me site to include Children’s Hospital visits by dancers, singers and band members on the World Tour. In 2015, Nolan and other performers were on tour with Taylor Swift and danced for kids at a children’s hospital in Seattle, as well as two hospitals in Miami and in 2016, the dancers were on tour with SELENA GOMEZ and returned to Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Each year, the Padilla Passion Project brings joy to so many kids who are unable to leave the hospital. Nolan will continue to honor David’s legacy by expanding the Padilla Passion Project offering these powerful hospital visits with each artist’s tour he choreographs.

David’s Padilla Passion Project legacy lives on through AEF to inspire, empower and improve the lives of kids in their fight with cancer. Through the game of baseball, we have teamed up with Austen Everett Foundation (AEF) to create a platform to reach hundreds of young athletes. Our goal is to bring awareness to those who may not understand. Alone we are strong, together we are unstoppable. Join us as we take a stand to fight for those who spend each waking hour of their lives fighting to stay alive!

Let’s create everlasting memories with friends and family through the game of baseball.
